Epletreet er trolig et av de mest populære frukttrærne som gartnere planter i utgangspunktet. Og på nesten hver hagetomt finner du minst ett epletre. Forventet levetid for forskjellige varianter er forskjellig, det bestemmes av forskjellige faktorer, på mange måter avhenger alt av klimatiske egenskaper og riktig stell av treet. Nå skal vi vurdere dette problemet og finne ut hvor lenge epletreet lever.
Hvor gammelt og hvor lever epletreet?
Som vi sa, er levetiden til epletrær annerledes, men i gjennomsnitt er det 50 år. La oss se nærmere på årsakene som bestemmer dette tallet.
Terreng... Først og fremst avhenger tilstanden av helse, frukting og forventet levetid av området du planter trærne i. I den sørlige delen av landet vårt, hvor vintrene er milde og varme, lever epletrær i 100 år, siden de ikke trenger å møte sterke temperaturendringer og motstå vinterfrost. Men allerede i områdene i den midterste sonen lever epletreet bare 60 år, forutsatt at treet blir godt ivaretatt.
I de nordlige områdene, i Sibir, i Ural, er det tilrådelig å plante bare frostresistente varianter, ta godt vare på dem og pakke dem inn for vinteren, men selv om alle reglene overholdes, vil maksimal levetid være ca 40 år. Sammenlignet med hundre år i de sørlige regionene kan det virke som om dette ikke er nok, men faktisk, gitt de vanskelige klimatiske forholdene, er dette en veldig god indikator.
Det er også noe slikt som livsform, dette påvirker også levetiden til treet. På dette grunnlaget kan alle varianter deles inn i to typer: tidlig voksende og sen utbytte. Og vi snakker ikke om tidspunktet for modning av epler, men om hvor lenge treet først begynner å bære frukt. Det er vitenskapelig bevist at et tre som begynner å bære frukt senere lever lenger. For eksempel kan søyle epletrær begynne å bære frukt allerede i andre eller tredje år, men samtidig vil treet sannsynligvis fullføre livssyklusen etter 15 år. På samme tid lever et epletre, som er vokst av frø, makeløst mer, siden de begynner å bære frukt ikke tidligere enn i det tiende året (og noen ganger i det femtende). Disse faktorene må også tas i betraktning når du velger frøplanter til hagen din.
Sist men ikke minst - omsorg for treet... Hvis du ikke tar hensyn til hagen, kan selv den mest seige sorten i det mest gunstige området bli ødelagt. Ta derfor alle nødvendige tiltak i tide, inkludert beskjæring, forebyggende behandling mot sykdommer og skadelige insekter, fôring og forberedelse av trær for vinteren.
Livssykluser for epletre
I et epletres liv kan det skilles sykluser som tilsvarer menneskelig ungdom, modne år og alderdom. Den første livssyklusen varer fra fem til femten år (dette avhenger av eplesorten). Den andre perioden er preget av frukten av treet og varer fra femten til førti år, men den tredje syklusen er treets gradvise død. Frukting vil fortsette en stund, men det er på tide å tenke på å oppdatere hagen.
Mens den første perioden varer, tilpasser treet seg, bygger opp rotsystemet, noe som ytterligere vil hjelpe det med å motstå ugunstige klimatiske forhold. I løpet av denne perioden er det nødvendig å danne kronen, dette vil ha en gunstig effekt ikke bare på utbyttet, men også på treets levetid.
Så kommer den andre perioden, og treet vokser mye saktere.Du kan ikke slutte å være oppmerksom på beskjæring, ellers kan kronen fortykkes og en betydelig avling kan skje, mose vises og vokser på stammen og grenene. Behold derfor sanitær og formativ beskjæring for å forlenge levetiden til treet.
Med begynnelsen av den tredje perioden skjer en avmatning, og deretter stopper alle livsprosesser. Frukt slutter å danne, grener tørker, og en gang på våren kommer ikke blomstring. Hvis du ikke dyrker epler til salgs, og det gamle epletreet er kjært for deg og bringer tilbake hyggelige minner, kan du selvfølgelig forlate treet. Hvis det er flere slike epletrær i hagen, og du må frigjøre plass, må du si farvel til trærne og fjerne dem.
Fjerner gamle trær fra hagen
Hvis det er på tide å fjerne treet, er det forskjellige alternativer. Du kan rive opp treet, bli kvitt det med kjemikalier eller bruke et folkemiddel som kalles saltløsning.
Mekanisk metode kan kalles den mest arbeidskrevende, vil det kreve tilstedeværelse av flere fysisk sterke mennesker og litt tid. Treet trenger ikke å sages eller hakkes, gå en meter tilbake fra stammen, grave en vollgrav, hovedmålet med denne prosessen er å komme til epletreets røtter og kutte dem med en øks. Deretter begynner flere mennesker å svinge treet og gjøre det til det faller sammen. Etter at treet faller, er det nødvendig å fjerne restene av røttene fra jorden, og først da begynne å kutte kronen på treet og rense territoriet. Men når det ikke er mulig å tiltrekke seg assistenter, vil en av følgende metoder mest sannsynlig passe for deg.
Kjemisk metode... Slikt arbeid vil kreve mindre arbeidskraft, men mer tid, prosessen med å ødelegge stubben og røttene kan ta to år.
Først må du felle treet og bore fire (eller flere) hull omtrent 15 centimeter dype i stubben. Jo flere hull det er, desto raskere vil prosessen gå. Vi vil ikke rive stubben opp med roten, men vil gjøre en innsats for å starte nedbrytningsprosessen i den. For å gjøre dette må nitrogengjødsel helles i hullene som er laget, og tilførselen må etterfylles hvert par uker.
Fremveksten av gjengroing rundt stubben skal ikke skremme deg, i fremtiden vil den dø sammen med stubben. I det andre året kan du grave opp røttene til treet, dette vil fremskynde nedbrytningen av stubben og snart vil det være mulig å fjerne den fra bakken uten bruk av overmenneskelig innsats.
Saltoppløsning eller bare grovt salt er et utprøvd folkemedisin for fjerning av uønskede planter, og dette middelet fungerer alltid effektivt. Du kan handle på to måter: vanne ofte stubben med en konsentrert saltoppløsning (som betyr bordsalt) eller hell grovt salt i jorden nærmere røttene. Metoden er effektiv, men radikal. Ja, stubben vil raskt dø, og det vil være mulig å trekke den ut, men ingenting annet vil kunne vokse på dette stedet, jorden vil bli bortskjemt. Tenk derfor mer enn en gang før du tar til denne metoden.
